What started as one woman’s determination to keep working on her own terms has grown into one of Palestine’s most trusted names in dog boarding. Eight years later, that founding spirit is still very much alive in how we operate every single day. We’ve intentionally stayed small, personal, and hands-on rather than expanding into a large, impersonal operation, because we believe that’s what makes the biggest difference for the dogs and families we serve.
Today, Raise The Woof Pet Hotel remains a family-owned business through and through. The people who greet you at drop-off, walk your dog to their room, and take them out to the yard are the same people who have poured years of care and dedication into building this business from the ground up. That continuity matters to us, and we believe it matters to the dogs in our care as well, who benefit from consistent, familiar faces every time they stay with us.
Who We Are
As a family-owned and family-operated business, Raise The Woof Pet Hotel isn’t part of a larger franchise or corporate chain. Every decision we make, from how we structure our boarding rooms to how we handle a last-minute reservation request, is made by people who live in this community and genuinely care about the dogs who stay with us. We’re proud to be members of the Better Business Bureau and the Palestine Chamber of Commerce, reflecting our commitment to operating with honesty and accountability in everything we do.
Being locally owned also means we understand our community. We know that leaving a dog behind, even for a short trip, isn’t always easy for pet owners. That’s why we’ve built our business around making that process as comfortable and reassuring as possible, treating every dog that walks through our door the way we would want our own pets to be treated.
What We Offer
Raise The Woof Pet Hotel specializes in dog boarding, with seven private rooms designed for comfort and safety. Each room includes its own outdoor access and separated run, giving dogs room to relax indoors while still having easy access to fresh air. We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes, and multiple dogs from the same family can even share a room together, making boarding easier and more affordable for households with more than one dog.
In addition to boarding, we offer occasional daycare for families who need a safe, supervised environment for their dog during the day. Every boarding guest enjoys time in our exercise yard, typically two to three times a day, complete with toys and hands-on attention from our team. We also offer bath services, including a complimentary bath after seven consecutive nights of boarding, and flexible meal options — we’re happy to provide food during a dog’s stay, or owners are welcome to bring their dog’s regular food from home to help keep their routine consistent. Looking ahead, we’re expanding our services to include administering medication, so even more families can trust us with the complete care of their dogs.
We ask that all dogs staying with us have up-to-date vaccination records for rabies, bordetella, and DHLPP. This isn’t just a formality — it’s part of our commitment to keeping every dog in our care safe and healthy, protecting not just your pet but every other dog boarding alongside them.
We also understand that plans change, which is why we’ve built a fair, straightforward cancellation policy: we simply ask for at least 24 hours’ notice, and reservations canceled with less notice than that are charged for one night’s stay. We think clear, upfront policies like this are part of treating our customers with the same respect and honesty we’d want in return.

We know that travel plans don’t always follow a nine-to-five schedule, which is why Raise The Woof Pet Hotel is open seven days a week, with drop-off and pickup available daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For families who need a bit more flexibility, we also accommodate 24-hour requests whenever possible. We accept all major forms of payment, along with Venmo, so checking your dog in or out is never complicated.

We built our process this way because we believe boarding your dog should be one of the easiest parts of planning a trip, not one of the most stressful.
